Tracy Burgess

My name is Tracy and I’m a lead counsellor based between the Welshpool and Newtown centre. I’ve been a counsellor with the Ponthafren team since 2009 and have seen the service grow from one counsellor in two of the centres into a team of ten!

Being a local from birth, being able to support local people and enable them to live a life they’d like to live is a privilege. “Life is not a rehearsal” which is a motto I live by, it has motivated and driven me to achieve new things, and my aim is to empower the people I work with to do the same thing.
