Simon Chapman

Simon brings extensive dynamic management experience having spent over thirty years within the Police and Fire Services specialising in Community Engagement, Health and Safety, Incident Investigation, Risk Assessment, Refugee and Asylum Seeker Integration, Local Authority liaison, and Safeguarding. His most recent role as Chair of Trustees for North Montgomeryshire Volunteer Bureau has provided him with a keen understanding of the need for reliable community transport and the positive impact of such on all aspects of rural life, particularly when challenging isolation and in the promotion of good mental health.

His voluntary work has included School Governor, Magistrate, driver with Ponthafren Community Car Scheme and Powis Castle.

For downtime his chocolate Labrador and various DIY projects keep him occupied.
