Celebration of Newtown Awards

Ponthafren we’re honoured to be invited to attend the Celebration of Newtown awards at The Hafren Theatre Newtown, by the Mayor Cllr Richard Williams, and to be able to share the work we do.

It was an amazing celebration of so many worthy causes, businesses and individuals. A special mention to Rory Evans who won volunteer of the year, Rory has done so much for Ponthafren in not only fundraising but raising the profile of our organisation amongst many others.

Also great to see Andrew and his team The Walking Men of Mid Wales win runner up in this category, encouraging so many men in our locality to walk and talk.
